Information about Booking and Courses
HOW TO BOOK A COURSE
Read through the General Conditions for Extra-curricular Activities of EV-ESM. Sign in to EV-ESM Booking System on www.ev-esm-booking.org.
If you have not yet logged in in the current school year, you must confirm the school class of your child/children in a first step.
Under Services on the left hand menu please go to Manage Bookings and select the Extra-Curricular Activities box. Please check which the school year is displayed (blue field in the top right corner), if necessary change to the year you want to book.
On this page all your children and their bookings are shown. Click at New Booking next to the child you want to book for.
You will see the full list of bookable courses. On the top the courses fitting the age of your child will be displayed. Below you will see all other courses. Click the desired course to see the details. You can book at the bottom of the course page.
If a course is overbooked we will close the booking for that course, it will then no longer be visible in the list of bookable courses.
After you complete the booking, you will also receive an automatic email notification. You can check the status of your booking at any time in the EV-ESM Booking System.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Please note that the binding information about the courses can be found exclusively in the EV-ESM Booking System.
The offer disclosed at the website only includes preliminary details and may have changed since publication.
If your child does not move up to the next class in the following school year, but repeats or skips a class, please notify us by email so that we do not reject your booking due to the incorrect class information (e.g. because your child stays one year longer in the KG).
The courses start at the end of September or beginning of October, music classes and external coursesmight start earlier. You will find the start date of each course in the course details.
KINDERGARTEN AND PRIMARY SCHOOL
• The Homework Academy courses will start early September
• Most courses consist of 30 course units, and so cover most of the school year
• Semester courses are scheduled with 13 or 15 course days
• The courses on short school days usually begin at 12:50 pm or 2 pm, on long days at 4 pm
• IMPORTANT: Kindergarten and primary school children must not be left unattended after school classes. A course booking will only be possible if you bindingly choose one of these options for the time before the extra-curricular courses start.
– After school care provided by R.U.F. (for courses starting at 12:50 pm or 2 pm you must book minimum until 2 pm; for courses starting at 2:20 pm or later you must book minimum until 4 pm).
– Homework Academy Courses (for any course starting at 12:50 pm or 2 pm; only Greek HAA can be combined with courses starting at 2:20 pm) – these offers continue right after school classes. The children eat with R.U.F. or the Homework Academy and then attend their respective extra-curricular activities.
– If your child has school classes, for example swals lessons, a nsa course can be booked directly after. If the school course does not take place your child can not stay unattended until the nsa course but MUST leave the school.
• Courses starting at 2:20 pm must be combined with after school care bookings until at least 4 pm oder Homework Academy until 3 pm.
• Children that left the ESM premises can not come back for afternoon activities.
SECONDARY SCHOOL
• Generally there are 25 course days in a course. At the end of the school year, many rooms are no longer available due to the examinations
• Semester courses are scheduled with 13 or 15 course days
MUSIC COURSES
• Music courses can be booked throughout the school year. Price and the number of course days will be adjusted accordingly.
• If you have questions about the various music courses and instruments or would like to get information about renting or purchasing an instrument, please contact Ms. Katharina Stegemann at musikseminar@ev-esm.org.
INFORMATION ON SCHOOL YEAR 2024/25
- Bookings for kindergarden and primary school courses, as well as external courses such as bouldering, tennis, swimming and music courses for all school levels will be opened on June 11, 2024, 12h noon
- Bookings for secondary school courses will be opened in September, when the timetables are known
