  11/2020   As the Corona situation is currently worsening in Munich, the school is going to adopt a new plan in the canteen of the primary school (communication from the school will follow next week).   Our service provider Il Cielo must therefore change its ordering procedure and kindly asks you the following: - for the week from Monday 9.11. to Friday 13.11. please place your order in the online portal of Il Cielo (https://www.ilcielo.de/ihr-login/) until Sunday 8.11. the latest. - for the following weeks please always place your order until Friday evening in advance of the coming week. (e.g. order to be placed latest on Friday the 13.11. for the week from Monday 16.11 to Friday 20.11)   This concerns all pupils, Abo-orderings as well as “Spontan” eaters.   11/2020   Today we were notified by the ESM management that the extra-curricular activities (including music courses) in the school premises can continue this week as planned. The canteen, transport and garderie services will also continue as usual this week. The situation will be reassessed on November 5th.   10/2020 Herewith I invite you to our general assembly on the 3rd of November 2020. The assembly will be held online with a dedicated meeting-software. Further information with respect to this will follow. Here you can find the draft agenda (only in German). EV-ESM_General_Assembly_2020 The pandemic has also hit our parents’ association. We and our service-partners had to rapidly adapt at the situation with always changing procedures and instructions from the medical authorities, the Bavarian ministry and the school. This brought our organizational capabilities to its limits. As you know, the school start this year was far from perfect, and we regret this very much. But I can assure you, that all our board members and all our staff, together with the school and with our service partners, did and still do their best to find a solution to every problem. 09/2020 From now on, the HS students can eat in the canteen during their break: those who have break in the 6th period go to the canteen at 12:40 pm, and those who have break in the 7th period, can eat in the canteen at 1:30 pm. Every student who has pre-ordered lunch in the Il Cielo Booking System will find it at the table assigned to them and their classes.   Students who bring their lunch from home can use the cold cafeteria upstairs.   On the contrary to what Il Cielo said in their communication last week, we strongly encourage you to make the reservations on a weekly basis, always until Sunday for the whole following week. 09/2020   ASSOCIATION   Finally, also our newsletter for the new school year! We apologize for not being able to send it earlier. The school management decided which education model should finally be implemented only a few days before school start. Also, the Bavarian authorities did not really help us in this situation. This caused the necessity to rapidly modify/adapt all our services. Notwithstanding some problems, we are now on the good run and managed to start all of them. 09/2020 In the first week of school the school buses will operate as follows: morning after school classes  Wednesday 2.9.2020 regular service only P2-P5 departure at 12:20 pm Thursday 3.9.2020 regular service departure at 12:20 pm Freitag 4.9.2020 regular service departure at 12:20 pm   From Monday, 7. September 2020, normal weekly schedule will be in place with morning departure as indicated on your busline document, after school the services vary slightly for different school years: from 7.9.2020 departure at Monday 12:20 pm P1-P2 4:00 pm P3-P5 Tuesday 4:00 pm Wednesday 12:20 pm Thursday 4:00 pm Friday 12:20 pm   Please also note that the school buses provided by the City of Munich depart directly after school lessons. If your child visits garderie or extra-curricular activities, you can also book shuttle bus ESM-EPO for those days. 08/2020   Due to the Corona restrictions, the MVV cards will be distributed  by class teachers in the secondary school and in the primary school you can collect them at the school secretary with Ms. Lorenz. The MVV cards from the last school year are is still valid in the first week of 2020/21. Please note that the City of Munich has issued a 365-day ticket, which covers the entire MVV area. If an MVV ticket is not available in time, please contact the office of the Parents' Association and not the class teacher. Families who submitted a belated MVV application after May 31, 2020 can assume that it is still being processed. You will be informed as soon as the card arrives at the office of the Parents' Association. Until then, please buy an MVV ticket with your child's name on it. You can then apply for a refund from the City of Munich....

07/2020 Due to rising prices and the latest development of the COVID-19, we were recently confronted with new, significantly higher price offers for the shuttle bus service from the bus companies for the coming school year 2020/2021. The price for the shuttle bus service - from the ESM Fasangarten to Pschorrhöfe, Isar or ESM Neuperlach, must be thus adjusted accordingly. 07/2020 We sincerely hope that the canteen will be back in normal operation from September and that the children will be able to get a warm meal. If that is not possible, alternative offers will be proposed.   Together with Il Cielo and the school, we are working on security measures in the canteen area which we plan to implement from September onwards to ensure a smooth and secure operation.   The obligatory registration for canteen services for the school year 2020/2021 is now open in the online system.   Please log in at www.my-esm.org and mark your child under the button SIGN UP for the school year 2020/21 for Il Cielo.
